We are reopening our Clinic in phases (see the graphic below for which phase we are currently on.) We are beginning with those who had existing appointments that were put on hold beginning mid-March. Our teams have been working to enhance our safety procedures and social distancing/protective protocols to reopen the clinic on a limited basis. We will not be able to reopen the clinic at its full capacity right away, so the rebooking of existing appointments will take time. We are focused on supporting the animals in our care and ensuring the safety of clients and staff at this time. We appreciate your patience and support and hope to have additional updates for you as they become available. If you booked an appointment prior to the closure, you will be contacted via email with a new appointment date. If you do not have an already-scheduled appointment, please continue to check this page as well as our Facebook page for updates on when we will be able to book a new appointment for you. Here is a link: to other low cost options in and around CT, so please communicate with each organization to see if they are accepting new appointments at this time.
POA SPAY! is keeping a close watch on COVID-19 developments on both a world-wide and local level. We believe the best source for information about COVID-19 and how to halt its spread can be found on the website for the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
We recognize the role that our clinic plays as a resource for animals and people especially in a time of crisis. Like healthcare workers, we are taking steps to keep our limited staff healthy while complying with the CDC, state and government requirements. POA SPAY! is taking additional measures to protect our clients, staff and community from the spread of COVID-19 by minimizing face-to-face interactions while continuing to operate only core essential services. Please continue to check this web page for POA SPAY's COVID-19 updates.
